Overview:
As most of peoples have known Nepal only as trekking paradise but Nepal’s identity does not remains only that. With this 10 days exploration trip, we are taking to show you the insight stories of historical, cultural, natural and extreme heritages of Nepal. Starting from cultural spectacle Kathmandu, this trip offer you short hiking experience along with jungle safaris in Chitwan National Park and exclusive touring experience in Pokhara city.
Leaving Kathmandu, first we go for hiking to Chisapani followed by to Nagarkot (2195m) next day. Chitwan could be the highlight of the trip if you are a nature lover. Inserting deep into the jungle, encounter wildest part of wind lives. Pokhara is of course a city of beautiful lakes and splendid Himalayan view. Join us and enjoy the epic beauties of Nepal.
Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1338m)
Welcome in Nepal. We meet you in arrival gate of Kathmandu airport and taken to a chosen hotel. If time allows, you will have free time to roam around the city. Kathmandu is one the ancient cities of Nepal, where you can explore ancient arts of livelihood of locals. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu- Chisapani
After breaking fasting, we start the trip on drive to Sundarijal (1 hour drive). From Sundarijal we start hiking ascending along the dense forest of Shivapuri National Park. Today is going to be 4-5 hours walk until reaching to Chisapani. Chisapani is a unique hilltop with fresh environment and spectacular views of central Himalayan ranges like Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh, Langtang and Jugal. Overnight in local hotel of Chosapani.
Day 03: Chisapani- Nagarkot
Wake up early to see colorful sunrise over mountain peaks. Take breakfast and start walk through forest and scattered villages. This trend continues till reaching to Nagarkot (2195m). Likewise Chisapani, Nagarkot is more famous for mountain sceneries and beautiful sunrise/sunset views. On clear day, Nagarkot offers a glimpse of Mt. Everest (8848m) also.
Day 04: Nagarkot – Kathmandu
Early morning, enjoy first rays of sunrise striking over the silver mountains. Today we are going to travel to Dhulikhel, another ancient Newari town. Visit around the town and take some snaps of local’s daily life. By late afternoon, we will drive back to Kathmandu and stay a night in a chosen hotel.
Day 05: Kathmandu- Rafting en-route- Chitwan
Today is going to be a water fun day. We drive from Kathmandu to Rafting put in point of Trishuli River (approx. 2 hours drive). Trishuli is one of the easy and safe rafting rivers of Nepal ideal for beginners. We do rafting for about 3-4 hours (around 20 km). Together it is a good opportunity to attach our eye over forests, terraces and riverside towns. After lunch we drive to Chitwan National Park. At evening we will participate in Tharu Cultural program and overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 06: Chitwan National Park tour
Wake up early and proceed on Nature walk in to the national park. An experienced nature guide will direct the path. He will introduce available flora, fauna and bird species. It could be a lifetime opportunity of getting encounter with one horned rhino, tiger, wild elephant and several other wild lives. Today we are going to visit in Elephant breeding center, do canoe ride and Elephant back safari. Overnight Chitwan.
Day 07: Chitwan National Park – Pokhara
In early morning go for bird watching tour (optional). After breakfast we leave Chitwan, driving towards Pokhara. Chitwan to Pokhara is about 135 km/ 4-5 hours drive. On the way, enjoy the beautiful sceneries of fast flowing rivers and beautiful terrain features. Pokhara is a queen city of superb natural diversities. Visit around the Lakeside city, overnight in selected hotel.
Day 08: Pokhara city tour
For full day, we are going to visit the awe-inspiring destinations of Pokhara city. Starting from Bindabasini temple, we visit International Mountain Museum, Devi’s falls, Gupteswor cave, Tibetan refuse camp, Phewa Lake and finally to Sarangkot for solid sunset view. Pokhara has some A-one carpet factories, have a look there. Overnight Pokhara.
Day 09: Pokhara – Kathmandu
After breakfast, we will catch tourist bus or our private vehicle and drive back to Kathmandu. Kathmandu is 200km east of Pokhara, about 6-7 hours drive. Arriving Kathmandu, shift to hotel and celebrate your time on your own.
Day 10: Final departure
