Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1338m)
Welcome in cultural paradise, Kathmandu. Upon your arrival in Kathmandu airport, representative from Nepal all Trekking welcomes you and then transfer to a preferred hotel. For rest of day take rest or explore around the city. Overnight in Kathmandu hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing tour
For this day, you may call a sacred day because we are going to take you to some of the sacred sites of the valley. After breakfast, a professional city guide will meet us in hotel and starts to escort to the divine UNESCO heritages. We are going to go Kathmandu Durbar Square: home of living goddess Kumari, Pashupatinath: the greatest Hindu temple, Boudhnath & Swyambhuath: sacred Buddhist stupas. Guide will tell you insight stories behind the monuments. Take a peaceful tour and overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu- Nagarkot (2195m)
Today shift to Nagarkot: a beautiful hill station near Shivapuri National Park. Nagarkot is 32km from Kathmandu and is about 1:30 minutes drive. Nagarkot offers a picturesque look of Himalayan ranges including Everest (8848m) far to the horizon. We recommend visiting en-route UNESCO site: Bhaktapur Durbar Square while going to Nagarkot. Overnight in Nagarkot.
Day 03: Nagarkot- Pokhara
While in Nagarkot, morning is so special because of exquisite sunrise over the mountains. Enjoy catching view of every rays striking with silver peaks. After breakfast leave Nagarkot for Pokhara. Pokhara is about 232 km west of Nagarkot, 7-8 hours drive. The road is pretty zigzag with diverse view of constantly changing middle hills, rivers and rustic villages. Reaching Pokhara, shift to hotel and spend a peaceful night.
Day 04: Pokhara city tour
Pokhara is a beautiful eco-cultural city located at the lap of Annapurna Mountains. After morning breakfast our cultural tour starts with visiting historic Bindabasini Temple. After there we are going to go Devi’s fall, Gupteswor cave (with God Shiva’s temple inside), world peace pagoda, Barahi temple and finally to world bazaar showing cultural history of Gurung community. At evening we prefer to walk around Lake side city at lake shore of Phewa lake.
Day 05: Pokhara- Kathmandu
This is the turn back day. In the morning we catch tourist bus or our private vehicle and start drive back along scenic Prithivi highway. On arriving Kathmandu, check in your hotel and relax on your own. You better go for some shopping to your friends and family. Thamel is popular as one the choosy shopping destination in Nepal.
Day 06: Final departure
This is the final day of our Nepal cultural tour. We hope you enjoyed the trip and meet your cultural dream. At about three hours before your departure flight, shift to airport and fly back. Nepal All Trekking would always love to travel with you again and again.
